A highly respected and established wealth management practice, is seeking a skilled Paraplanner to strengthen its advisory support function. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who values accuracy, compliance, and delivering high-quality financial planning support within a reputable, long-term focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare compliant, accurate financial plans aligned to client objectives and risk profiles
  • Perform detailed cashflow modelling, retirement projections, and scenario analysis
  • Conduct investment research and comparative analysis, considering tax and legislative implications
  • Compile Records of Advice, client review reports, and adviser presentation packs
  • Ensure all documentation complies with FAIS, FICA, FSCA, and internal compliance frameworks
  • Maintain audit-ready records and accurate CRM data
  • Provide technical support to advisers before and after client meetings

Requirements

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a paraplanning, wealth management, or advisory environment
  • Solid working knowledge of investments, retirement planning, and financial planning principles
  • Proven experience with cashflow modelling and financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Advanced report-writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning systems (e.g. myPractice)
  • Relevant qualification or studies toward Financial Planning / Wealth Management / CFP®
