(PLEASE NOTE: The company is based close to Boschkop in Pretoria East and it is essential that the candidate has their own vehicle and a valid driver’s license as public transport to the location is non-existent)

The company is growing and expanding its database and is seeking a talented Junior Bookkeeper with financial expertise and advanced Excel skills to join their team. You will be 

responsible for recording and maintaining the company’s financial transactions, while also ensuring alignment with financial objectives and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of Invoices & Credit Notes (Debtors & Creditors)
  • Reconciling Customer & Supplier accounts
  • Uploading of bank statements & reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Bank loading of payments and beneficiaries
  • Capturing monthly payments
  • Assist with Monthly financial processing up to and including Trial Balance Level
  • Assist with Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Performing ad-hoc financial administration tasks as required
  • Assist Accountant in with Monthly Management Accounts & Year End Processing


  • Matric.
  • Proven experience (+ 2 x years) in Accounts Payable & Receivable / Cashbook / Relevant Accountant experience.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and financial applications (e.g. Advanced Excel, Microsoft O?ice Suite).
  • Completed Articles will be advantageous.
  • Work Experience with XERO will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Own reliable transport.
