A well-established South African bathroom retailer is looking for a commercially minded Business Operations Manager to strengthen its leadership team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys improving systems, solving problems and keeping multiple departments moving in the same direction. The business combines a national retail footprint, premium product ranges, private-label growth and a strong e-commerce platform.
Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day business operations
- Align department heads and improve cross-team communication
- Track performance, accountability and delivery against business goals
- Analyse business data and turn insights into practical actions
- Improve systems, processes and operational efficiency
- Support growth across retail, distribution and e-commerce
- Reduce operational dependency on the owner
- Drive continuous improvement and a high-performance culture
Requirements
- 4 – 6 years’ operations or general management experience, preferably in a retail, ecommerce environment
- Experience leading multiple business functions
- Commercial understanding and sound financial awareness
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Proven ability to improve processes and business performance
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
- Retail, wholesale, distribution or e-commerce exposure is advantageous
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, owner-managed business
Education
- Relevant degree or diploma in Business, Operations, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field

Work Hours
- Mon – Thu 07h00 – 17h00
- Fri 07h00 – 16h00
- Every 2nd Saturday 08h00 – 13h00
