The group is seeking an experienced Halfday Accountant to manage the full financial function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial oversight.

This hybrid role requires an individual skilled in both accounting principles and industry-specific practices, particularly in stock control, for efficient financial management across the affiliated companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full financial function, from bookkeeping to trial balance, and preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of stock control, aligning with operational demands.
  • Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Utilise SAGE Evolution for financial management, reporting, and data integrity across the group’s activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting.
  • Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles, demonstrating comprehensive accounting practice knowledge.
  • Essential experience in stock control, particularly within multi-faceted business environments.
  • Proficiency with SAGE Evolution, with practical knowledge for effective day-to-day use.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with in-office presence in Robertville, Johannesburg.
